Consequently, much of what they use comes from press releases that announce new studies or statistics, video news releases, radio tours, or photographs that have been supplied by businesses or their public relations firms.

That means winning coverage often depends on going beyond a basic press release.

You can provide a page of "tips" for journalists to quote from or use as a springboard for interviews with you.
